I had the opportunity to collaborate with the Canadian metal band arrowheads on three of their single covers together. The brief initially aked for eight minimalist and simple drawings in black and white as they were supposed to go on various coloured backdrops. Four of these were supposed to revolve around the word "addiction" and the other four around "stale". I had complete creative freedom in how I wanted to interpret and visualize these terms.

I opted for backline work crossed with a comic/newspaper like feel to them. 

After I did the initial eight drawings, arrowheads extended the commission to four more based on the idea of "separation/distance" continued in the style of the first eight ones. 

Arrowheads used the illustrations for the single covers on Apple Music, Spotify and other music streaming services.
